ARÕMA is an electronic music producer from New Delhi,India. His music emanates from nature itself.Influenced by cultures, traditions from around the globe and evolving from deep self-exploration,his style is truly eclectic.
A blend of ethnic and western instruments with world percussions, elements of nature and beautiful vocal chants/mantras creates the ultimate transcendent music for healing, relaxation and meditation. He has always been inspired by world sounds and tribal hypnotic grooves.
The Tchambuli, now known as the Chambri are an ethnic group located in the Chambri Lakes region of Papua New Guinea. The Huli, too are an indigenous people who live in the Hella province of Papa New Guinea. This EP is a sound journey to their land, a deep dive into the beautiful culture these tribes follow. For this I used tribal hypnotic grooves, percussions and blend them with tropical style melodies, soundscapes to create a jungle type atmosphere. The listener can really feel like a part of these lovely tribes as they can hear traditional sounds from Papa New Guinea. The tracks in the EP are an amalgamation of voices and instruments from this beautiful land. So hop on for a transcending journey and let the magical vibe surround you.Big love and hugs from India.
I would like to really thank my friend Miqou(Berlin,Germany) for the collaboration on Tchambuli. It has been a lovely experience working with such a talented music producer. We really connected over the sound and tried to create a beautiful experience for the listener.
I am also really thankful to EL Extravagante(Montreal,Canada) for remixing our track and adding some more tropical style feel to it. What a lovely job. I am very happy about the compilation and big ups to my dear friends at Ohxala Records for this opportunity. It means a lot.
